About Us

Our Beliefs

What We Believe

We believe in God’s abundant grace working in our lives in three ways: Through Prevenient Grace: God invites us into a relationship with him through faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior. Justifying Grace: takes place the moment we say “yes” to the relationship God offers us. God’s Sanctifying Grace is at work in our lives from the moment we profess faith in Christ helping us to grow in our relationship with God and deepen our faith until we are made perfect in God’s love.

The two Sacraments practiced in the Methodist Church are Baptism and Holy Communion. Both are believed to be instituted by Jesus and area a means of experiencing God’s grace in our lives. We Baptize infants, children, and adults. Holy Communion is offered in worship every first Sunday. It is also offered at other special services as well.

The Global Methodist Church holds to historic, orthodox Christianity.

The Trinity – One God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ – Fully God and fully human; his death and resurrection bring salvation

The Bible – The inspired authoritative Word of God

Salvation – By grace through faith in Jesus Christ (not by works)
